Help Notification light constantly blinking when phone is locked

Recently I have been having a issue where whenever I lock my screen my notification light blinks the whole time, even when I have no emails, text, missed calls anything. I've turned off the phone, took the battery out, and reset to factory settings and restored everything and the problem is still happening?? Any suggestions? Thanks!!

I have the same problem. Since the upgrade to 2.3.3 my notification light flashes all the time. I have checked my e-mails, texts, missed calls nothing showing that should cause the light to flash. When the screen is on, the light goes off, when the phone is locked, then the light starts flashing. Restarted, pulled the battery, no change.

Any thoughts, or suggestions?

I have found out the following: If I get a text, or an e-mail, and it shows up in my notification bar. If I pull the notification bar down, and select the text, or e-mail from there then the light quits blinking. If I just go to the app that has the message, then the light will keep blinking. I am not sure if this in an intended function, or a bug . It seems that the notification bar does not recognize that you have read the text, or e-mail even though the message disappears from the notification window, the light keeps blinking like it has not been read. So far this is how I have found to stop the light from blinking all the time.
