notification on my send button on texts

Hi, on my A40, when I send a text message, next to the send arrow there is a notification saying 2. this has only been there since I updated the android version when prompted recently. It's quite annoying, does anyone know what it means and how to clear it please? thanks

Just to add - before I type a text, the same "2" notification is there on the record audio message button. please help! thanks
