Help NOtification sounds

PLEaSe HELP! I "upgraded" from 2.1 to 2.2 and Now i cant distinguish my E-mail notifications from my text notifications. I used to via gmail with 2.1 but now its only using my txt notifications. Anyone else having this problem? Please help. Thanks

so.... go in and change them.

open up Gmail menu>more>settings>select ringtone

similar process for texts

I DID! but it wont play the tone when the e-mail comes in ..only the txt tone from the phone settings. not g-mail...like i said it worked with 2.1..
