Help Notification sounds

Two annoying issues... 1. My android constantly makes the sound I received a notification but there are no notifications showing up.

2. My phone continues to sound off and then displays "WiFi Network Available".

Hi

You don't say what make or model of phone you have, but something like:

system menu
wifi
menu
advanced
deselect "notification for open networks available" should resolve item 2.

Note sure about 1. - maybe the same setting..
