Hello, I was wondering if anyone would know an app that does the following:
*Receives a keyword and sets an alarm+vibration for that keyword.
    *Listens for notifications (status bar?)
*Checks the text within the notification and checks it with the keyword.
*If there is a match, the alarm set is played.

I've found "Keyword Vibration Alert" app, and it does just that but is missing the play sound feature, which is what I am the most interested in.
I have also found "Recurrent Notification Manager" which supposedly does just that, but it is missing from my version (possible since I am running ICS 4.0)

If anyone has additional apps I can try, it would be greatly appreciated.

AutomateIt (free version in the Play Store) can have triggers for keywords. I have some set to turn volume on, send me GPS location, etc with specific keywords

You could probably set up tasker to do something like this.

We have a subforum for it here: Tasker - Android Forums

I am trying it right now, but so far I think keywords work only for SMS texts, and not any other app notifications, for example, a keyword found within a Whatsapp notification.
I'll keep playing and see if I can get it to work

    I'll also check Tasker. :)
