Mine doesn't slide like on other Android phones. I have to got to the home screen, choose menu and then notifications to access the notifications bar.

Is this the same on everyone's Evo? Seems weird if so. I'd love to know a fix.

Are you certain you're not touching anywhere else on the screen while you're trying to slide it down? If you you have more than one point of contact then it kinda freaks out and doesn't do much of anything.

I've had a Moment for 6 months. Never a problem with the Notifications bar. This one does not move period! The only way to slide it down is but home/menu/notifications.

Anyone else have this issue? It's the only issue I have.

Not having that issue, mine slides down like it did on my moment.

No clue what you could be doing. Mine works perfectly.

I have this problem too, with 4 different Evos here. The notification bars dont work if the phones are sitting on the desk, but if I pick it up they work.

That sounds a little similar to the incredible dialpad issues that some had; dialing numbers wouldn't work properly when the phone was placed on various surfaces.
