I miss this feature in the forum - the forum doesn't warn on new replies made while posting.
Imagine you write a lengthly replay, while someone has already posted a short reply before you. This is very annoying and results in confusion.

Could you please enable this feature in this forum (if possible)?

I'd also like that, Usta. I've noticed it from time to time while composing a post to help somebody in need of device assistance..click "submit reply," and then have to post: "oops, so-and-so already answered."

    Great idea.

Totally agree. This happens regularly to me.

I've been in the habit since the beginning of time to scroll up once posting to see if there were any new replies, and since this has been my habit I personally don't see the need for this feature.

However, I realize my habit is not anyone else's habit - and will see about getting a plugin for this installed.

We've tried this and it gave our system a run for its money. I'm not sure if it conflicts with our current plugins or if it's just too intense for how little wiggle room we have for server load, but it's not going to work for us. It's too low a priority to focus on considering what all we have going on right now.

So, it's been removed from the to-do list. Sorry. :(

    Thanks for trying anyway.
I came across this feature in some other forums, so technically it works.
Probably, it is indeed a plugin conflict.
