nougat on canadian note 4

Well, i am new here, anyone suggest what the best canadian nougat rom for a note 4? and which program i should be using to root my phone? I'm new to the whole root thing, but not new to messing with stuff lol...any info would be great, thanks!

Hi, I use a program called CF-Autoroot, it is uncomplicated and easy to use, as to the ROM it is a matter of personal choice, most of them have some Samsung feature missing, for example it could be the S-Pen won't work, it would be worth looking on the all things root forum. Phil

thanks phil...i was able to root no problem with supersu(i did the other night before your recommendation) now to find a rom...so many things to consider lol...im green at this hahaha..

I've tried a couple but went back to the stock ROM, I just removed all the bloatware and have kept it rooted so it doesn't come back. Phil

It all worked, with exception of SPen.

Hi Gregg, that's why I dumped it and went back to stock, they all seem to have a flaw but it's ok if you don't mind the loss of some features. Phil

Hi Phil,
Because the Note 4 was heating up randomly, with either original battery or the spare, I just bunged it into O2 as a deposit. I wouldn't have wanted to sell that to anyone- best let O2 sort it. It must have been a hardware problem.
Very pleased with this OnePlus 5. Chinese phones are for me now. Seeing as crapple and Sammy phones are made in China too, then not much difference in manufacture- just after sales service.
