I have s7 edge with nougat and I have had it for a while. About a month ago I started seeing some connectivity issues.

Wifi will give out and it will say "internet may not be available" If i restart the modem it usually reconnects fine otherwise I have to wait a few minutes.

I use Verizon Message+ as well and some message will say "sending" next to them instead of "delivered" and eventually they will send ... but my recepients tell me that they are getting the same messages OVER AND OVER.

If I restart the phone it will send them a message from hours sometimes days ago!

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON....

I already did a full factory reset last night. It was fine until this afternoon...now its shit again

For what it's worth. I have developer options ON and I have a mock location on for certain things during the day.

If you're getting network and messaging problems with Verizon, and I presume Verizon supplied your S7 rather than BYOD? Could be worth checking with their customer support about it.

Unless anyone reading this has had same problems with a Verizon version S7 and knows what to do?

none of the same problems, not even remotely.

duplicate messaging can be a network issue, specifically on the recipient's end, since the receiving device might not be sending the "stop" signal to the network that signifies they get the message... sending old messages could mean something similar, but on the sending side, as the device isn't getting the "got it" signal from the network.

wifi could be a router compatibility issue, or software issue on the device.

you say you did a factory reset. did you turn off auto restore and skip the gmail sign in before testing? if you reloaded all that crap, you might have reloaded a software issue.
