Is there a way to minimize the amount of home screens? I know you can edit the dock, but can't figure out the home screens..
I rather have 2-3 not 5.
thanks!

Where exactly do you find Nova Launcher?
Has anyone noticed all the icons and widgets on your homescreen going black as you scroll to the next screen and as you arrive on the new one? It's annoying, but something I could live with if it's the only flaw. I'm using the "cube" look as well, so maybe that has something to do with it. Gotta say, I'm loving Nova Launcher. I had a few problems with it, so I reinstalled and everything has been great since, except this minor issue. If someone can report this to the Dev then I'd be very grateful. If not, I'll just live with it.
Haven't seen this issue on mine yet. I mean, the icons will slowly dim out as they near the edge of the screen as the cube turns, but I would expect that's intended as they're on the way "out". But nothing blacks out at all no matter what I try. What version of Nova are you using?
I wish screen rotation would be in nova launcher... :/
What do you mean screen rotation? Sorry, what that term means to me Nova does, so I'm confused, lol.
I tried Nova Launcher, but the battery left widget is all blacked out with it If I go to move it, I can see it while I'm dragging it around, but once I place it, it's blacked out again.
Mine doesn't... I will have to look into it.
Another bug I am noticing with Nova is that sometimes that google search bar randomly comes up... It's kinda annoying.
I'm new to the whole Vanilla thing and loving it so far. All my phones have been "Sense"
Does putting a Launcher on do anything bad? I remember a friend put a launcer on his original droid and it didn't look that great to me (not as good as stock). But i might not understand it correctly.
I guess is should ask, what do we lose when we put Nova launcher on (if anything)? Do they take over the whole phone like a ROM? or is it just like an upgrade thing?
Sorry for the stupid questions but i like stock because it works best. But maybe a launcher doesn't do what i think (make it a whole new phone like when you put a ROM on).
What does the Launcher replace? maybe thats a better way of asking

Best discription ever!!!! Thats all I needed (the Win7 to XP discription). It makes it 100% clear. And when i said "hurt the phone" i actually meant choppyness and stuff like that. you are the best!!!!!!! Now i get it.
Can't wait to put it on. I'm saving it until Christmas Eve while I'm stuck at the In'Laws for 90 hours. It will give me something fun to do.
Thanks again a million !!!!!!!!
I tried to upload my own 72x72 png image and selected it as a custom icon through Nova and it shows up super tiny. anyone know what I am doing wrong?
is there anything special to creating an icon or can I use any properly sized png image?
In settings you can turn it to never come up.
I did, but it still shows sometimes...
Also, screen rotation is not working for me. I have the setting checked to turn, but it never does. I guess I need to update or something :S
