Root Now Rooted

I was on 2.1 leak v3. I upgrade to the RUU, to try to root, but failed until yesterday. Now that I am rooted I installed EvilEris v3. Its nice, but I find a few things I don't like, 1. everytime I boot HTC Sense crashes, and I have to force stop it for it to come back, 2. I only have 24meg left internally when before I had almost 80-90 meg with the same amount of apps installed

Now don't get me wrong I'm not complaining so thats not what this is about. What I want to know is if I can now go to the official 2.1 rom but retain my root access.

Try "Ivan's" ROM from here, [ROM] Eris_Official 1.0 Alpha With Controllable Overclocking! [5/9/2010] - xda-developers. Your phone will look just like you rec'd it from VZW but with root access.

Or, try Sense-Able from here, [ROM]Sense-able 3.1! OverClock [5/10/10] - xda-developers.

Try a ROM with Apps2SD... I love it, and I don't have any noticeable decrease in performance (at least compared to stock) when running any of my apps. Plus I have a LOT more free space now, and don't have to worry about the "low space" message

Don't forget to do the wipes per each ROMs developer's thread...don't know if this was the reason for your FCs...just wanted to make sure you knew.
