Root Now that I am rooted, what to expect from next OTA update ?

After you have rooted your phone what happens the next time they send out an OTA update?

Will it offer the update ?
Should I accept it or is it unsafe to update after rooting the phone?

I just want to know what to expect before another update happens (if ever). i thought others who are rooting might like to know as well.

You might get it if you're still running stock 2.2, you will not get it if you're on a custom Rom. Truth is, once you are rooted, there's no reason to ever accept an ota again. Last time we got the leak which turned out to be the real deal. Just wait and let things unfold. If history repeats itself, we'll be ahead of the curve.
