When I receive an email a number in a green bubble with the number of emails appears on the email icon. The problem is when I check the email or delete the emails the number on the icon does not go away. The number just resets after I get in new emails. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance

I have the same problem from time to time, but once I receive a new e-mail and delete that one, the number goes away. It may take a factory reset to get rid of it.

Happens to me every once in a while too, 2.1 V3 leak with latest patch update non-rooted.
I just delete the widget from my screen and add it again.

EDIT: I've done a factory reset recently and it still happens....don't think that will help with the problem.
