    Hello.
I am having a weird glitch with the automatic text correction in Google keyboard on my 2nd gen Moto E w/ 4G LTE

This problem just started a couple of days ago and it's driving me crazy.
What happens is, if I type certain words and mispell them, the keyboard will correct me and it will like ' double type ' the word it corrected.

For example; if I type " TV "
Say I hit letters T and V. They keyboard will correct by writing TV but it will appear like this " TtV
    Say I type " Horse "
Will correct as Horhorse " ??

I have tried> going to settings/ apps/ Google keyboard. Clear cache, clear data, uninstall updates, then re-update throu Google play store.
    The problem persists

    Hi,
    Connect the device with internet.
Go to settings >storage>cached data>clear cached data.
    Settings>storage>apps>google play services> manage space >clear data.
Wait some time to load data.
    Settings> language&input> google keyboard> text correction.
    Disable the switches.
    Wait ten seconds.
    Enable the switches.
