I rooted my phone with a oneclick root tool and...

it died. It turned off, and it won't turn on at all. It's less "staying on the samsung screen" and more "staying on the first screen that comes up"

Quite literally, might I add. I can -try- to boot into recovery, but that doesn't work because it stays on the samsung logo.

I can -try- to boot into download mode, but that doesn't work because it sticks on the first little logo bit.

Hell, I can't even CHARGE the phone, because it freezes on the empty battery icon with the little spinning bit. When I unplug it from the charger, it still stays on that screen. It literally hangs on the first screen to come up, the only way to shut down the screen is removing the battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try pulling the battery for an extended period of time, like 6+ hrs. Good luck!

There shouldn't be any logo when going into download mode? Atleast I've never seen it?

You holding down the 1 key and then holding power when the phone is off?

If that doesn't work, try taking the battery out plugging it to your computer and then try going into download mode that way

By logo I meant the "Downloading Mode Do Not Turn Off.." screen.

I just took it to the Sprint store for a fix, they replaced the motherboard even knowing it had been rooted.

Well glad you got it fixed.
But...when you go into download mode and see that screen, it doesnt go anywhere from there.
Thats when you plug it into the pc and run Odin and what not to fix it :p

Not sure if you tried any of that so if you did sorry for explaining ;)

I know about that, but Odin didn't recognize it. Hell, the red "charging" light wouldn't come up, either. It literally froze on whatever image came up on the screen first, no matter what. But yeah, at least I got it fixed.
