ok and actually i have another quick q. can i odin from a rom jus to original stock or do i have to be stuck on the samsung logo? lol its a pretty dumb question i think i can even answer it myself but i just want to check before i do it. ive only had this fone for 3 weeks

Has anyone gotten the update, ODIN'ed back to stock, and re applied the update (via device manager)??

ok so i followed the instructions in one of the forums about doing the odin. but i think there is a later version of it so it didnt match up with all of the instructions given. is there any advice? or a new set of instructions sumwhere?

On behold 2 its 100% safe (0 chance of brick) if:

- you only flash a BEHOLD PDA / System (and of course partitions.ops)
- You don't flash bootloader, or phone

If you flash a galaxy PDA / System it will brick. So make sure you use the right file.

If you flash PHONE and it interupted, there is a chance of bricking your radio. But you never need to flash PHONE.

If you flash BOOTLOADER and its interupted, there is a chance of bricking the phone. But you should never need to flash the bootloader under normal circumstances.

Only ever flash the system and you should be ok.

So when you say on flash "PDA / System" is that the same file? I have options for OPS, Boot, Phone, PDA and CSC. I think what you're saying is that I only need OPS and PDA...

That's Correct.. The .OPS & PDA is all that is needed.

Just know that ODIN takes you back to the pre-update without bug fix

Hopefully our faithful devs can get us the updated ODIN files soon.

BTW - if there's any testing that needs to be done, let me know.

Well under ops and pda where do i find the files? Do i jus type them in? Or is there a certain file i locate the stuff in?
