Root OEM Unlock is failing

I just tried to OEM Unlock my 6P, but I'm getting an error:

C:\Android\adb>fastboot devices
8xxxxxxxxxxxxxx5 fastboot

C:\Android\adb>fastboot oem unlock
...
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time: 0.012s

I have gone into developer options and toggled the "allow OEM Unlock". The same exact process worked on the 5X, and I'm at a loss. Google's phone support is no help either.

Well, i should have kept looking. The command changed but so far only the Nexus 6P
