No that would be impossible since the memory is soldered to the boards internally and most likely a single 32GB chip.

Actually there is no confirmation at all for whether it's 16 or 32GB at this point (at least in my opinion).

Idk, all I know is a 16gb model only doesn't make sense. How much more does that extra memory cost? Not much at all and then they can charge $299 to more people.

The original press release from VZW does not include the memory in the list of specs.

We need a dedicated person to round up all of the tweets, thread posts, and VZ rep calls and make a bar graph of which dates have been confirmed the most times, lol

Since there has been no official announcement from Verizon regarding the memory size, yes, everything up to this point has been assumptions.

The Google page did have 16/32, and was changed. Was the change a mistake or deliberate? I find it hard to believe that a LTE phone would be restricted to 16GB.

I will wait for the 32GB model. I want a device that is future proof (for 2 years :)). This means a Google phone, ICS, plenty of storage (32GB) and of course...my grandfathered unlimited data. I am already using the cloud for music and thankfully won't have to rely on an SD Card for all my storage but this doesn't mean I don't want the convenience of a plentiful amount of onboard storage. I have a 1 year old son and am tired of feeling like I have to offload these pics/videos to conserve my 16GB SD which I have easily filled before. With HD video and more and more photos, I need an onboard solution. I don't want to rely on the cloud for everything and offloading isn't awesome either. Anyway, I am ranting and I probably have missed a lot of posts.

Agreed... but they can charge $299 for 16GB, also.

Me too... but strange that there is nothing very official about that yet. In fact the most official thing that we have (Google) says 16gb only.

So I just realized that one of my buddies is currently working at one of VZW's corporate stores. I asked him about the Nexus. His response is below. Nothing we haven't already heard. I tried.

I just asked him whether the phone he played with was 16 or 32gb. I'll let y'all know...

Not sure if this was already talked about, but whatever happened to the samsung illusion (which per the one screenshot was supposed to launch on 11/18)? I don't see on verizon's website which is not cool.
