it will have to be done with root. the thing is tho, they take up a total of right about 2mb between them, and can be disabled so easily that going through a lot of trouble to remove them really doesnt achieve anything

Yeah I agree, not a big deal to most, heck it would be really easy to remove them with root too. It wouldn't bother me, but some it does. Good news this is a Nexus device so easily to remove.

Also I wonder when Verizon stores are going to be getting display models in.

May not be possible to completely uninstall them, but disabling them is just the same. They won't show up in your app drawer and they won't ever run. The only thing you won't get out of disabling them is the space they take up, which together = a paltry 3 or 4 MB. To that I say, who cares? :D

How did the screen interact? Is this screen going to support multi-touch...because I'm pretty sure the Dinc screen doesn't.

Proving that the OMAP 4460 in the Nexus was an excellent choice. :)

from the ifixit teardown, iirc it has a 10-touch input module, so unless its software restricted, it should

LOL nice. It would have been nice to see a tree made of Nexus (like the most recent VZW commerical)...where all the Christmas decorations are phone screens.

I've been worried about this. Is this phone going to be user friendly for those that aren't tech geeks?

Screen was perfect, not one mispress for me (for the 15 or so minutes I played with it while my wife rolled her eyes at me geeking out)
