Well I sbf'ed back to stock, took the large zip file and renamed it to update.zip, put it on the sdcard, and booted into recovery mode. I chose the upgrade from sdcard/update.zip and just booted the phone no problem.

It's the one that ends in .zip, the other one is a .crc file.

you're going to need to SBF back to Froyo if you want the update

That's what it is on my phone now after upgraded to the OTA "leak". Don't know what it was before.

If its the same then that is probably why you can revert back to Froyo from what P3 jsut announced.

Looks like poeple are working on rolling the updates overtop of the leaked rooted version to retain the rooting ability.
