This pic makes me ask: did anyone else angrily tear off those FCC tags as soon as you opened the package?

Definitely am doing this in the morning!!! Just tried calling and they close at 8 AM EST.

I tried mine with a friend N1 Case and it really is perfect. And neoprene in case of fall. And it holds it snugly.

Plus you can't beat having an Android on the cover.

I am a new user to the forum, I have been a lurker here tho in anticipation for the Incredible. I ordered the Seido 1750, hopefully it will be here before the weekend. I wanted to hold out for the 2150, but I really want my phone to be able to fit in a slim case, so I bit the bullet and went with Seido. I know people who have bought Seido batteries for other phones, and have had good experiences so I am basing my purchase on that. Like others, I will post my experiences after I receive it and try it out. The consensus here seems favorable for the most part, hopefully it will work out for me.

Yeah it has almost been a week since the phone was released! OMG why hasn't every company fully researched, developed, and released accessories for our phones yet?!?!?!

Cause the 3rd party companies don't even get the official specs/dimensions of the phone until it's released.

My 2cents. I know diddly about cellphone batteries but what I've noticed since I received today. The seido is bigger. But just marginally. I noticed the stock battery would just drop into the battery compartment, but the seido needs to placed in just right as the fit is very snug. You don't need to force it though. Second, its noticeably heavier. Not blackberry weight but it does make the inc feel noticeably heavier. So making a guess, and this is only a guess. It's possible that they simply maximized the amount of space and put in more material. I know there's doubts about how can you make a better battery that's the same size and get more juice. Now I know this is apples and oranges but the optima battery that replaced the stocker in my trick is at least 20 percent smaller yet packs a help of a lot more juice. Secondly people are saying HTC would never put in an inferior battery in their phones. True, but let's talk margins. Maybe that little bit of extra capacity would have have cost them .03 cents per unit. Verizon obviously wanted to hit a certain pricepoint and HTC as well so make sacrifices where they can. Rather then skimp on the hardware, sacrifice the run time and offer an optional extended battery. It also makes a case for pushing the extended for battery for heavy power users. Cha-ching.

So far an hour of heavy internet use, no WiFi , no bluetooth, no gps, animated wallpaper and that fancy HTC weather widget on. 50 percent left.

Just opened the battery's packaging and I notice it says on the unit 'Use specified charger only'. I can still use my HTC charger, no?

Seidio must be happy. All it took was one person posting a positive response to get a swarm of people descending on their batteries.

From what I read in other threads (there are a bunch on the subject in the Nexus 1 area of here) they are fake.

I can also atest this is a great case. Just the right amount of neoprene. And the phone doesn't go anywhere inside...it stays put (I tried my friends 2 days ago).

Someone even posted a story on here about how his dog grabbed his case with the phone inside of the dresser. The case has teeth marks and was pretty beaten up..but the case was fine.

This is all I'm after. I nice case for my pocket...and waiting on the Steinheil full screen protector (although I have heard conflicting if that's even necessary).

This way the phone will fit in every dock, and is still protected from falls (except for ones while I'm on the phone - and that's only happened to me once with one cell phone)

And isn't that what insurance is for? :p (not to say that if a nicer slip pouch with neoprene comes out I wouldn't buy it.

Here's hoping that the 1mm diff the extended battery is going to have won't make a diff with this.

A testament to the additional need for power that this phone yields. If only HTC could conjure up a power source like those used in some watches using perpetual motion for energy.

Well, not quite perpetual motion but close enough...

I thought the same thing and I weighed them with a gram scale and the Seidio 1750 battery actually weighed 1 gram less than the OEM 1300 battery. I'm not sure how they did it but I definitely get significantly more battery time with the Seidio 1750.

I'm going along for the ride with Seidio. Ordered my battery directly today, and it is en route. My Moto Droid lasted longer, and this phone is proving to be a bit limited in terms of juice. I expect to be able to make several calls a day totaling more than an hour, check email and texts (total of 40 messages), and still be able to stream a couple hours of Pandora. What is the point of a phone that can do all this if you can't do it.

    Ok. Will report back.

Wow. I should have contacted Seidio to work out a commission thing if I knew so many people would go get it! :D

It really does change the phone though. It makes it truly the best phone on the market because you get all the power and decent battery life. No more compromises.
