    $800, phew. I just got a refurb iPad for $439. I'll probably trade up to a Honeycomb tablet when there's a bit of competition and the prices are more reasonable.

    How did they figure $600? They take more than $200 off for smartphones, why not take more off for the Xoom too? For example, the Droid X costs $570 at full retail, but is $200 on a two year contract. That means they take $370 off, yet for the Xoom they only take $200 off. It must have to do with not having a voice plan on the tablet.

    ahhh man $800 is wayy much ... I strongly believe that they must reduce the price or they will be out of the competition.
