Mine is ALOT louder, now it is almost as loud as my original Droid. I actually turn down some of my volumes, and my hearing isn't that good.

Are you kidding me? Your going to put an update thats not official on your phone and cry if it's sloppy?

It must have been updated, because everyone (including me) else said it was broken when they did the froyo upgrade....

EDIT: It was updated specifically for us! It works again! Thanks!

    A couple observations -

    - The slide to answer call is smooth as butter.
    - Ringers, notifications etc are louder
    - Battery life is crazy good, seems to have doubled!
    - Flash :)
    - Gallery app is better
    - You can click on the contacts picture now and it pops up a box to text, email call etc

    Several expected others..

Thanks, just downloaded. This is one of my favorite devs on the market anyways, he also made widgetlocker, great apps.

Battery life is much better. After updating, I am still around 70% at bed time as opposed to 30% on 2.1. Finally I don't have to charge every night!!

I hadn't noticed that but I have been noticing my Gmail icon has an unread mail number on it even when there is no unread email on my phone. I have to log in online to mark all my mail as read.

If you have the address info saved for the contact a navigation icon pops up as well...but of course it's VZ Navigator, not Google Maps Navigation, so it's pretty useless for most of us.

After 2.2, I no longer get LED notifications with Touchdown email. I tried reinstalling, and it worked for awhile, but now back to no LED. Everything else works fine.

go to your downloads page in the market, if you have more that 1 update available there will be a button at the bottom to update all.

We have a 2.1 Dx here, and my 2.2 Dx as well... putting the same sound playing on each phones, and spacing them about 10 feet away on both sides, in every single instance, the 2.2 Dx was significantly louder.

I have a slight hearing sensitivity in my right ear, and I can no longer even listen to calls at fulll volume. I need to turn calls two at least two notches to listen comfortably.
