Whos going to b watching the games Live via Sprint Tv with their Evo tomorrow. The Phone couldn't have came at a better time.

I was looking for a widget to get updates on the games, but I found a really cool app called World DroidCup which shows you the scores real-time but also gives you lots of other info.

If I'm not near my tv (i think espn2 is showing the games) then I might tune into sprint tv. Not that interested in soccer but i'll watch it if no other sports are on.

Most likely, I'll probably have the U.S. games playing on the the phone while I watch some baseball. It will be like my own little picture-in-picture.

Good Find. I got an app from appbrain.com, called WC 2010 - FotMob, which shows all the standings, scores, table setups, groups and more. Also, I think it will broadcast the games live..(even though we already get this with SprintTV)

This is an excellent app! I plan on watching the matches on line today but glad I have the app for when I have my meetings...

With my 3G is decent, but could be way better. Streaming is good.

I wish we could zoom the picture in to fill the screen, rather than have the 16x9 picture in a 4x3, with bars all the way around.

So Am I, kind of mad that Sprint TV doesnt use the whole screen. only 2/3 of it, but hey its the world cup and Im watching it at work.

definitely better with 4g....when it first pulled up the image, it was full screen, then went to 4:3...wondering if there is a setting?

waiting for the match to begin to really gauge difference with constant motion.

That happened to me as well... I reclicked the channel and now its ok.

wow....now that the action has begun.....big difference with 4g/3g....the close ups and slow mo replay on 4g are very clear...views of the whole field/pitch are not jerky as they are on 3g....both are very watchable...tried over wifi and sprint tv is not available over wifi...i didnt know that.

same here....I think the servers got overloades! gonna see if I can find an online feed of the game....so much for SprintTV being useful today.

Sprint tv says the channel is down for me, will try again.
channel is still unavailable for me so apparently stuff only works on the now network when there aren't alot of people trying to actually use it. So glad i came back to sprint.

I am watching game here at work.

I have phone right in the middle of my thighs and my desk is blocking any view whatsoever from people coming around my desk.

There's no way people can tell I have a phone here watching live streaming TV.

Yup, server overloads. Even ESPN360 won't load on my computer. World Cup is big business.
