I read that 2.2 is released for the Nexus One phones now. I guess I'm a clod, but what phone do I have. I never saw a name attached to my phone. All I have ever known it as is a Motorola A855.

I've thought for a long time that Verizon made a mistake using the name Droid to refer to a series of products without giving THE Droid some distinction beyond that. It just leads to confusion. If nothing else, it makes it much more difficult to come up with relevent search results when searching for information on "Droid".

Droid X will only complicate things further, as now the phrase "Motorola Droid" will yield results for multiple products.
