okay i m rooted now what ?

I finally got my hero on sprint rooted it seems . so hjow do i tether my phone to my ipod touch . Plus what else should I do or get now that I am rooted

Find and install a custom rom.

Rooting does nothing but unlock the phone, until you install a custom rom it will behave just like a stock phone.

Well, start by putting this in the root section so it gets more attention.

Second, read, read and read some more. There is so much info out there on what to do. If you read the FAQ/Tutorial, it even explains what to do after you root.

Third, if you want tethering, you are going to need an app that does this for you. You will also need busybox, which isn't typically part of rooting. If you were to install a custom ROM, you would get your tether app and everything else you need. I suggest reading up on the different custom ROMs.

you might need to get busybox on your phone....

go to marketplace... search for tether. you will find a few choices. I like: wifi tethering for root users.
