Well, I've avoided a "smart phone" for a year or two. Didn't see the need, and I held off. I bought a Captivate this morning and I am just trying to learn how to do simple things on it..like add more than one phone number for a particular person's listing...and then find that entry. I haven't had any luck so far., but I'll search the Captivate forum and learn something. In the old days, they gave you a manual that no one read but me. They don't do that anymore, I guess.

I've messed around with computers since I bought a 4 k (yes, 4 k ) Timex Sinclair membrane keyboard, back around 1980 or so. Had to teach myself how to program (RPG and Fortran) to make it do anything. I think I've forgotten 99% of whatever I learned..and feel like I am starting over on this new phone. Retired... fish; golf; enjoy six Saturdays and One Sunday every week. Thanks for the welcome spot....Rich
