Hi everyone. Just got my Droid 2 FedEx today, and am getting her all set up. I was using an LG Dare before. I had an micro 2GB card that had all my pictures, music, videos and contact photos (picture ID pictures).

It was easy going from an old Verizon phone to another old Verizon phone becasue the file structure was the same for all the SD formatted cards (MY_PIX, MY_FLIX, etc...).

In looking at the 8GB card that came w/ the Droid 2, there seems to be no such structure. There are directories, (.android_secure, Android, logs, and LOST.DIR) but I am not sure where to put my videos, pictures, etc...

    Any thoughts?

Thanks again, and have a good day!

It doesn't matter where you put them. Android scans the entire memory card for media everytime you mount it. That's why they are called *smart*phones. :D

Ah... "Smart" phone... Right. :) OK... I'm dumping 35 pounds of MP3's onto this SD card. Hope the smoke doesn't get out....
