Help Old phone number appearing on Samsung Galaxy S6 chat message

I've recently changed my network provider to Vodafone and at the same time upgraded my phone to a Samsung Galaxy S6. This phone had a temporary Vodafone number while my old phone number was ported over from my old network. Now the porting process is complete, I can send an SMS no problem, but all Samsung Chat messages I send display the temporary Vodafone number that was initially registered to my new phone rather than my ported number. Phone calls to Vodafone Customer Services and two visits to the Tech Team in a Vodafone store have failed to solve this problem.

Please can anybody help?

If it ported correctly etc, I would do a factory rest on the phone and start off fresh, when you do that it will pick up your current settings as per your provider. Also, check that your current number is updated with your Samsung Account.
