I had a droid razr maxx and recently bought a comparable LG k20. The droid razr Maxx has a cracked screen where I cannot see what's on the screen and the back is literally being held on by strings I have tied around to keep the battery from falling out. I transferred my texts through verizon cloud but most of my old texts did not transfer. Anyway I can retrieve these old texts even with the cracked screen? Is the best and/or only option to take the phones to a verizon store and they can somehow transfer all my older texts?
