    Hi everyone!

Omnivore is an app I developed to help people (me included) keep track of the expiry dates on food in their fridge/pantry/cupboards. The user enters a name and a date for each food item and Omnivore creates an event in the chosen calendar on the day the food goes bad. This set-up means that you get all the regular features of GCal for free: Notifications (which can be set up from the app), sharing (not in the app yet) and of course access to your data from any device with a web browser.

a very nice app sir. thank you.

my one question: i see that the database stored locally..does it also store the length of time until the item expires? had you ever considered having a central database somewhere? (would be nice to crowd source some of the typing of my items and lookup of exipry dates:) )
