I will purchase the Inspire 4G, for the off contract price of $499, or $449, or $550, or whatever the rumors dictate...

I will be on the nations fastest 4G network, or 3G, or 3.5 G, with or without HSUPA, something about backhaul?...

I will be able to use on of the most advanced Android devices on the market, or one that is 4 months old...

I will be able to use my phone under "heavy" conditions all day, or 6 hours, or less, or more...

I will be able to take advantage of side loading, or not...

My boot loader will be unlocked, or locked...

Lets keep this going with all the great rumors and misinformation we have seen on the forums and in reviews!

On February 13, 2011, I won't be ordering this phone.

Hopefully I will have already ordered it through AT&T Customer Service.

If not Saturday, I will order it on Monday, February 14, 2011.

I'll be at Best Buy to purchase it on Sunday morning and all our East coast friends are waiting an hour right? I'm pretty sure the forum as a whole decided that.

Good catch I might have to visit a Radio Shack instead of the ATT store as I can get it 2 ours earlier.

WE have those STUPID blue laws in SC. I will have to wait till 1:30 for the AT&T store to open because its a sunday.

Anyone else bringing a small hobbiest screw driver with them so that the idiot AT&T salse person doesnt break or scratch the phone trying to open the battery door?

I am...and (as stupid as it is)..i didnt trim my nails this week either (so i can maybe pry it open that way)...lol

I play classical style guitar as a hobby, so I have longer nails on my right hand. :)

I don't want their grubby little hands anywhere near my phone. I'll take my phone home and open the box all by myself, bask in it's soft glow of electric sex, and have a nice Sunday breakfast with my phone, uh, I mean my wife.

Will they let you do that..i was SURE they would insist on installing the sim card since ill have to have a new one comeing from an iphone.

Can i just ask them to give me the sim card and an unopened box?

You should be able to. It's your phone. Tell them you are in a hurry, and you will have to install the sim later.

The worst is that I have to work @ 11 on Sunday, so I'm going to have less than an hour to get acquainted with it. :(

I'm hearing that AT&T won't sell it off-contract on opening day so I will be at Best Buy at 10am, cash-in-hand. Sold the iPhone today and I'm ready to go. Funny, I didn't think it would go that fast- I posted it last night and expected the usual low-ball offers from Craigslist. I got 4 low-balls and each asked if it was able to be jailbroken (presuming to be resold). The 5th was a serious offer and they ended up buying it.

Really want the Inspire. Tried 2 Radio Shack locations today and was denied at both. They would only sell to new activations only. I spoke to a sales guy at an AT&T corporate store and he said it shouldn't be a problem getting one but I have been informed by others (with AT&T) that this isn't the case. So, going to be at Best Buy when it opens and hope for the best.

Man, I am there with you. Probably for the same reason that I like getting packages of tech goodies in the mail- I like opening them all by my lonesome. Then, in my tech induced bliss, I go and shag my wife. It's probably why for her birthday she bought herself a new phone- she knew what my reaction would be.

She's in for a real surprise when I get a Xoom.

Dude! That is F'n hilarious! I like the way you think

Hmmm....i love tech but phones and shag have never been cross connected in my brain. Thats pretty funny.

I am sure i would have the same reaction to a new muscle car or jet ski or fast boat, maybe even a new Stainless .45 or anything Sig Sauer...but not a phone..ha ha.

    Too funny!

I had this reaction when I got my Springfield 1911 .45 so I'm with you there.
