Wugs wont detect my device into adbmode to use flash stock to flash new 5.0

It keeps saying fastboot device not found

    Sounds like a driver issue.

Also note you can manually boot into fastboot. It may detect the device then. Worked for me before on the s3 when trying to use Odin. Worth a shot :)

Its either hold power + volume up or power + volume down.

Most recent nexus devices have been volume down

Another idea can the image be flashed through twrp? I can see drive to put the image on the nexus 7

Got into bootloader mode wouldnt detect there either

Can also get into twrp. What is adb sideload?

New update did search for windows 7 adb drivers and loaded from device manager.

Wipe and install now in progress

That was successful rooting and custom recovery in progress

Just FYI, the NRT driver guide has complete directions on how to use the built in USBdeview tool to delete usb drivers related to the nexus and reinstall of them.

As of today NRT has been updated, get the latest version and try again if needed.

I had no problem with Wugs.
    It was smooth sailing.
