Help One album splits into two

Both albums appear to have the same metadata, yet they will not merge

The only place where albums merge is VLC

I access AF via a browser and PC. I dnld your shared files and imported them into my player. (Winamp) The files populated into one album. I can find nothing wrong with the metadata information.

Is this happening on your phone? What device do you have? What app are you using to play your music?

Would you please give us more intel,of what kind of cell you have,and about the app too?

I tried the OP's FLAC album from Google Drive in Foobar2000 on my phone and it's OK, shows and plays as one album. And it's all ID3 tagged.

So probably a problem with the app.

We're told that the "only" place it appears as one album is VLC, but how many other apps were tried and which ones? If the answer is "only one other app" then we know where the problem is.
