I'm waiting for my wife's new Incredible to come in the mail from Asurion. I'm wondering if I could save some time by taking her existing nandroid backup and applying it onto the new phone. Would there be any problems with this or is that nand backup signed for that one phone only. Any issues with the serials etc?

Theoretically, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work, but I wouldn't want to try.

If you have Titanium installed, that now has the ability to interrogate and extract nandroid backups for apps and app data so would that be a more feasible option?

It'd probably be the same amount of effort though :p
