Okay so i spoke with htc support and.. well the supporter i talk to had no idea what she was talking about, at one point she asked is i would remove the battery while the phone was on... at that point i kinda gave up.. (HTC One X is a close design and it's not possible to remove the battery)

She also tried to convince me that i was the only one with that problem and that i needed to send my phone to repair, although i linked her to this forum (thread) to proof other people had the same problem.

I'm very disappointed in htc support...

But if some one wants to fix this problem as much as i do, please send a mail to htc, the more people that reports this problem the better :)

Settings -> Sound -> Sound Enhancer menu when you have headphones in?

rahul1993, via the above menu, is there a Beats profile available?

Hi, Same happens to me , I mailed to HTC and i got a call from there that this has been done from HTC itself via OTA update, they have disabled the earlier feature present.

    What a crap...
