My Oneplus X isn't allowing me to make calls whatsoever to any other phone. I can still send texts and MMS and receive them as well as use my data connection. When others try and call me they get sent straight to voicemail. I've tried messing with the APN settings and network operator but nothing seems to work. I'm hoping someone can help me out. Thank you in advance!

Who's your carrier, and what country are you in? Please don't say Verizon or Sprint, in the US.

I bought my One plus X from their website. Do you know where I can check to see it I have the right model? Also, I've had this problem before, but I fiddled around with the same settings that I am now but the problem went away the first time.

Okay, I do have the correct model, but I have only had this phone for about a month.

You got the correct version, then it should work with Metro PCS no problems, they're not CDMA/EVDO. I'm in China, where the OnePlus X comes from, so I'm only going on what I've read online.

Try doing *#*#4636#*#* from the dialler, go into phone information, don't change anything, but can you report back what it states under "Set preferred network type", it should probably be "GSM/WCDMA and LTE". If you've not already done it, check with Metro PCS, see if they can suggest anything.

OK, I did what you said and my phone is set to LTE only. I am going to change it to what you said and see what happens.

I went in and changed the setting to LTE/GSM/CDMA Auto(PRL) and I can call now. I just need to wait now to test whether or not I can receive calls.

If you can now make calls, very likely receiving calls will work as well. If it was set to LTE only, and probably it doesn't support VoLTE with Metro PCS, that's why phone calls wouldn't work. Seems to be sorted now anyway. :)

Okay, after all that happened, I was able to finally make and receive calls. My phone was changing between LTE only and LTE/GSM setting in the testing section and finally decided to stay on LTE/GSM and the problem seems to have gone away. Thanks for the help! If anything comes back up I will use this thread again.
