WOOT just got my Eris..... More to come after it charges lol.
Look over the battery threads, play with it, and then come back and give us your impressions please!
I have been studying the phone since it came out and listen to all you guys that have it and knew what I was getting into I have download a bunch of apps, still trying to figure out how I want the phone to be set up. "Knock On Wood" I haven't had any problems with locking or anything like that. I still say the battery life could be better but I have to honestly say I am really enjoying this phone. I also know its the whole new feeling thing and once I get some more time on it I will post a update on how things are going..
the Eris is a great device your going to like it good luck.
If you just got it, I assume it hasn't been updated yet..?
yeah it got the update in the store last nite
Oh, crap. Hopefully you won't have some of the problems we've been having with the update.
Enjoy your Eris; smart move.
like i said so far so good and I am totally enjoying this phone.
I'm with you, CJ. I got mine yesterday and love it. I just got to around the whole battery issue.
i'm wifi in the house and the battery seems to be doing a little bit better but I am not going to let battery power bring me down to a frown lol.
Welcome to Eris Family
Look at the threads for tips and tricks.
Will do and thanks.
I love my Eris as well!!! There is a lot to learn, but it's all worth it.
I have no problems with my phone. Try Advance Task Manager to cut down on lag.
Still trying to settle my apps down and I have to say one thing I haven't had to pay for a damn one yet and only have one that is saying a full version will cost me that is good stuff right there, free is always nice.
Yes, it certainly is. That's what you can expect from an open source product. Love Android.
now mind you this is coming from a Mac guy......... iPhone what? hugh? someone say something about a phone? I'm sorry all I heard was blah blah blah then thoughts of Android running through my head.
