Help Open in new tab for google chrome

When I'm I'm google chrome I'm usually able to hold down on a photo to and have the open to press, open in new tab, but now I don't have that option, is there any fix?

Still works with a loonnngg press in chrome V48 on 5.1.1 on my phones. What device/chrome version are you using?

I am currently on an lg g3 and version 48 chrome, and even with the long press I do not get the option for open in new tab
