Is there a way to open a webpage (using any browser) which is served on a non-standard port? The default port for webpages is 80. All browsers assume port 80 unless told otherwise. However, I need to open a page on a non-standard port (in this case, port 82). When I try to open http://[IP address]:82 on my Droid-X I get nothing, regardless of which browser I use. In this case, it is http://192.168.3.112:82. If I tried that on a PC using M$ Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc..., it would open the page.

    Why not on Android?

What do I have to do in order to load this page?
