Several threads have indicated that the Droid supports OpenVPN connections, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to configure this. The only VPN option that even looks close is "Add L2TP/IPSec CRT VPN", but I can't figure out how to load the user and CA certificates...hell, I don't even know if this is the correct option for an OpenVPN connection.

    Has anyone figured this out?

    Bump!

    DaveNay,
Did you figure this out? I would rather not root my phone to achieve VPN access. My team and I are encouraging the Executives to shift of their BB's to Droid's, and none of us want to support any "oops" moments with them and root'd phones. Which, I am sure you can understand.

Under "Location & Security," there is a place to import cert's, but it is only for "p12" certs. AKA, personal encryption certs. And I have yet to find a location to pull in the "normal" RSA/DSA ascii encoded certs.

    Cheers,
    LK

Create a p12 certificate and also put the ca.crt in your sd card root

    To create the p12
openssl pkcs12 -export -in [PathToClientCert] -inkey [PathToClientKey] -certfile [PathToCACert] -name [FriendlyName] -out certs.p12
