Support order my esteem but see the money back in my account

    ok so i order my esteem from letstalk.com but now i see the $249 that i use to order it back in my account.. but get this i have the ups tracking number and it says that they ship the phone and i should receive it in 2 days...should i wait to see if i get a free phone or call to make sure they send the phone.. little advice please

    well I would wait, unless u need the phone really bad. but if i was you i would wait and see.. and if you do get the phone hold your money for about a week, just in case they contact you,

    yea i was thinking the same cause i check my account and i was like WTF ok.. but what is weird chase showed me that letstalk.com took the money but now it has no record of it and i have the money back.. and have a phone coming to me(free)

    free you wish trust me you will be charged they do weird stuff like that ive ordered from them before and was charged 1.00 and then refunded and charged for my phone

    sometimes your money will show back in your account and will automatic be deduct once you recieve the product, just like getting a hotel on spring break once you sign out they will take there money...:cool:

    This happens with several different types of online purchases or payments. The same thing happens when i pay my verizon FIOS bill. Its happened with my car insurance. Happens with lotsa things.

    Rule of thumb.... If you paid them and you see it hit your account, then it disappears. DONT SPEND IT. Unless your okay with paying overdraft fees.

    I personally think its a way for the banks to make money off of overdraft fees.

    The companies you paid cannot charge your account or add money to your account without your permission or account and routing numbers.

    Its the bank.
