I had it narrowed down to the x10 and the desire, but I can't go for a phone without at least dualtouch, so it ended up with it.

But to my q's. I use google calender - Android should be easy to sync with that, or? What about syncing contacts with my mac? Music and images?

export your contacts from mac and import to google contacts then sync your phone.

for pictures/music/videos - try: Sync Android, PSP, BlackBerry, Pre: doubleTwist with Amazon MP3

Google calender, contacts etc will sync with your phone.

You just need to sign into your Google account and sync it :D

Thanks alot, never used google contacts - have to look into that.

I have my music in Apple Lossless, is there a nice way to sync-and-recode to say aac? if not the phone plays ALAC.

Android will sync with google calendar without problem (although I haven't got mine yet so can't answer specific questions!).

The best solution for syncing music, videos seems to be doubletwist but no contact sync yet.
