Organising SD card

Hi forgive my noobness here I have not received my desire, but have received my shiny new 16gb sd card class 6, now me being me want it all loaded ready to go, but this is my first droid and my nokia N95 8gb automatically organises all my files music to music ect ect for me so i suppose what i am asking is rather than me doing my usual drag n drop technique do i have to create individual files for each item music for music you get my drift I just want everything easy to find and organise

You can just drag and drop them anywhere on your sd card and the phone will pick them up and arrange them in the music player by tag (eg your typical groupings of artist/album/songs).
