Original file from computer to phone

Already know how to send apk file to phone from my computer and how to install it once on the phone, my question is once I open the apk file with the file explorer I use and install the app, can I delete the original apk file that I transfered from my computer?

Yes, you can safely delete the transferred .apk once it's installed.
