I just got my Hero yesterday and already rooted it. This morning, I received a prompt to download "2.27.651.6". I shouldn't do it right?

nope, it appears that it will destroy your root. In the past, it hasnt taken long for the devs to get root access after sprint updates, but you never know how long it will take. Long story short, dont touch that update if you want to stay rooted

it doesn't matter. You can always download and boot-up the .5 file and root from there. the one-click method works for .6 as well, so why worry?
