    Hello All.
On my HTC desire, I had my outlook work details in sync with my phone.
To look up someone on the corporate directory I would go
menu -> people -> Corporate Directory tab -> search (first or last name)

On a Galaxy S2 it seems I can only access my work contacts (contacts saved on my outlook program phonebook). I can't do the search method as above.
Anyone know how I can do the same thing that I use to do on my HTC desire to search the outlook corporate directory on the Samsung Galaxy S II ?
The Galaxy S II has 2.3.3 installed.

    Thanks in advance

    solved the problem
    go to your outlook inbox
    compose a new email
in the To section, click on the icon(profile) on the right hand side
    takes you to your contacts.
search (in my case by last name) and a button pops up saying 'online'
and it will allow you to search your Outlook Global Address List
    ocne you find the name.
Touch hold the name and it will give profile info such as phone number ...etc

This was bugging me as well. I stumbled upon an easier way, at least on the American version...

Open your contacts, instead of entering the name in the search field shown, hit the dedicated search key and enter the name in the field that pops up and hit "Online Search."

Not sure if there's any way to do this on the European version as there is no dedicated search button.

Thanks..... yes this works fine on the Euro Version..

Your quite right in the Euro version not having a dedicated Search button however on the Euro version you simply long press the menu soft button to bring up the search function and this does work for an Online Exchange GAL lookup using Online search.

So the steps for an Exchange GAL contact search on the Euro version are:-

    - Open contacts
    -long press search button
-type first few characters of name, when a result isn't found on phone the online search button will appear
-continue typing name and then press the online search button
-choose the contact from the results to see details and optionally save to any of your address books.
    :)
