After 9 months or so of effective synching of my Outlook Calendar with my Desire HD calendar using HTC Synch, I am now getting an error mesage saying that the calendar failed to synch - "Unable to copy calendar items from your device" - it is linked as it copies contacts etc...

I use Pocket Informant to maintain my calendar entries on the device.

Any thoughts or suggestions on why this is suddenly failing?

Have you just had the gingerbread update? Do you have the latest version of HTC Sync installed?

You could try MyPhoneExplorer, that's a lot better at doing its job than HTC Sync is.

    I'd also recommend MyPhoneExplorer.

we are aware the the outlook sync is available but it keeps failing. I am trying to ask why. I am noob and didn't have an android back in olden times before this particular kind of PC sync. I am not even what pc sync would be for since google syncs online. I actually did get it to work by wiping the phone data.
