S4 with Outlook as email service. I do most of my emails on a laptop, but some on the s4. The emails saved/stored in the folders do not appear on the outlook app on the phone. The folders are on the phone, but no content. Clearly visible on the laptop outlook application. I created an IMAP account on the phone and it shows that it synched, but still nothing in the folders.

I had the same issue I think are you using the outlook app? If you use that you need to select "get messages" but it doesn't sync automatically annoyingly. I did use it through the gmail app for a while though and that all synced and told me every time I got an email in any box so may be worth trying that?
