List of games that works on Ouya from the play store without rooting it. I'll update this list when I test more. Only games listed here, are ones that fully work with the controller, except for a couple touch screen commands.

    Beach Buggy Blitz
    Shine Runner
    Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk
    Zen Pinball THD

Does anyone actually have one of these things?

I've read about the Ouya, never seen one.

There's quite a few Android devices intended for gaming....usually tablets with D pads on them....and a couple of HDMI devices embedded into Playstation type game controllers. ...they're listed on made-in-china.com and Alibaba.

I was tempted but no Play store so I'm not getting one.

It's either side load or buy all the same applications again.

Seem like they are sold out in most stores. I do side load alot of games using our network here at the office. Some games play but I don't list them because, it's not a full gaming experience.

As I understand the Ouya, it's an American device backed with money from Kickstarter project. And it's trying to go up against the many Chinese Android devices intended for gaming.

It doesn't have Google Play, it uses it's own proprietary app store. That get's me thinking, this is not good. If the company was to cease trading and disconnect the servers, their app store is rendered useless. Many of the Chinese devices, often for less money, now have Play on them.
